Just ordered the Daystar spacer / shackle lift for my X. Will likely need some help installing it when she arrives.

10% Off Everything right now on 4wheelparts.com was the clincher.

Thought you might want to be around for the Install Adam, so we can do yours easily enough when you get it! If you decide to go the same route that is.

Calmini lost my order due to never actually being able to ship the product. I have called them every week for the last 2 months and been told the same thing each time "We are out of stock and expect to have them in 3 weeks". Oh Well!

Spacers up front / Shackles in the rear. The Calmini PML is even easier to install if that is the route you are going Pluvo? All you need is the rear shackles as far as parts go.

My 2nd Gen truck is a little different, no torsion bars to crank to bring up the front end.

Sounds like maybe we can make a small mod day out of this in a couple weeks.

Duh! I saw 'spacer' and went retarded for a bit. [Freak]

Already did the PML. Actually Conundrum (Adam) did most of the work, I just bought the beer. [drink]

I'm considering a 2" body lift just for giggles. I know it's mostly a 'bolt on' mod, but I've seen some mention of 'bumper relocation' and that troubles me a bit. I may replace the front bumper in the future but nothing for sure.

I'm thinking the order is important such as:

2" body lift - July
Sliders (for 2" lift) - August (in time for Fat Tire)
Skids - September

Also for July is new shocks to go with my PML and sometime in there an air tank/compressor.

Damn this is getting to be an expensive hobby. laugh

Gotta try and get the Cam bolt TSB done before this goes on really, so I can get an allignment. I might give Pinnicle Nissan a call and see if they can squeeze her in this week sometime, just up the street from my office.

Otherwise I'll be hosed when it comes to allignment time.

You shouldn't need an alignment after the lift. I didn't.

Well I'm gonna get the TSB done anway, as my X doesn't have adjustable cam bolts. They replace them and do a free allignment at the dealership. Of course if the lift is on, they would probably frown apon that, so I'm gonna get it done first.

Good idea. I need to check out my truck to see if the cam bolts need to be changed.

You should be fine. It was only trucks manufactured after August 22nd 05. Mine is a September 05 manufacture date.

Does a BL require bumper relocation?

The brackets for the front don't bother me so much, it's the drilling for the rear that troubles me.
