Do you guys actually ever try to get together and do something? I know we have quite a few car shows in the burbs and I wasn't thinking about entering any but thought it would be a cool showing to park 'em all together and check out the other machines.
I also try to drive up to Baraboo, WI and camp at Devil's Lake State Park a couple times over the Spring/Summer/Fall. Always looking for others to share in the trails, campfires, and coolers!

Is there a midwest group? I just bought my '03 X SE the first of July. Have been to XOC's website many times but am looking for a midwest group. Everytime I try to go to the MWXC website it says it's "under construction" with little/no useful information. What gives? Is there a midwest group? I would be interested in joining if it existed...

BTW - I'm from Battle Creek, MI - Cereal City USA

The midwest group is all but dead. The most active group in Wisconsin/Minnesota now seems to be MadCityXOC. We put together a lot of Xcursions each year and have a lot of fun. Pretty easy going crowd too. The bad part about it is that big pond between us.

I completely forgot about that little episode until you mentioned it.

"testing the waters" - didn't mean nothing literally, just a figure of speech, first thing that came to mind... Looking back I know what you were thinking though.

Brandon is right there is a pond between us. But there is a ferry we can take and us "Cheeseheads" can invade Sleepy Bear Dunes! I am going to do this next year!

Well I'm taking some intiative here and I'm going to propose a date for all of us chi town boys to hook up. How does the 13 Sep. sound?
