I am pretty definitely in, unless something completely unforseen comes up (which happens to me a lot). I'll get there Friday night, and plan on staying at either my wife's cousin's or aunt and uncle's cabin about 2 miles east of Seeley.

I too have been Xtremly busy lately and havent been here much.

I'm in if I get there early enough. Chances are I can't get out of work all day Friday so I won't get there until late afternoon. What time did you want to leave?

We should be done setting up and after a couple northwood cocktails (aka BEER!) ready to go around 3pm. We could wait later, for the others showing up later in the afternoon. It is about an hour and half drive to Bayfield. There is a whole lot to see and do up in this area. I know the area pretty well. I will leave it up to everyone to decide.

I have been checking the weather there this week. It is 61 degrees there toady and sunny. It 52 here. Hey it's Wisconsin!!!

BTW Close, I will be bring up some "Swampwater Tea" to warm the bones!! Just don't drink it near the campfire. Slight change of plans, We are going to do some wheelin' on Friday and maybe Friday night and go to Apostle Islands on Sunday.

Wheelin' and more Wheelin'. Friday would be good to some check out the trails and maybe do some night wheelin".

I also called the Hayward Ranger station today. He said logging trails should be good shape May 1st. They were worried about being way too muddy and causing future erosion. I also called KOA to double check. They will be open the weekend we go. Just no heat in the bathrooms, bummer huh!!

1 week left, we just got a bunch of rain so the roads might be good and messy, although it was drought like up north a week ago. Fire hazzard was very high. I'm bringing two extinguishers! Double batch of Chili coming too. I'm leaving either Thursday night or early early Friday morning.

P.S. I'm hoping to have stickers for those attending by then.

I'm still trying to find a way to bottle some of my kegged homebrew. Unfortunately, it looks like I may have to buy some beer for that weekend. The good news is that I might get to leave a little earlier than I first expected. Hopefully I'll get there by early Friday afternoon, but I still haven't decided where I'm staying yet. How far are the trails from Hayward? And is there are plan for everyone to meet somewhere or am I the only one without a reservation at the KOA?

I'm sleeping in the truck . I rig the back with four sleeping bags and it's very comfy. unless we have tons of mud then it's a tent probably.

I'm in.(Liberty)Does anyone going have a winch? Do we have any really modified rigs going?(solid axle rigs with 33-35" tires).

No 33-35 inchers. No winches I beleive. There is a another Jeep coming with Chris. I am bringing Tow strap, 14 feet of chain, 2 10,000 plus shackles, and a come-a-long for downed trees. One of the Tacomas has a tow strap

So how many days are you guys planning on wheelin? Fri,Sat,Sun? I plan on leaving on Fri morning. We need an easy location to meet in the am. We could use channel 4 on the CB.

I plan on doin some wheelin' on Friday, and mostly Saturday. Sunday I'm heading to the Bayfield. Cable would be a good place to meet Saturday morning. Friday mid-afternoon we should be ready to go from KOA

If someone get there early check with the ranger station in Hayward. They will be able to give us actual directions to the trails. I just don't want to meet Darrel, Darrel, and Darrel playing Banjo music!

FYI, do not buy any firewood. I will be bringing 4 bundles of firewood, enough for friday night till late?? I know a area to get free firewood east of Seeley. Koa's firewood is a ripoff.
