I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help me out with this, but I have an Alpine 7578 (or 7875) and the CD seems to just skipping randomly.
It happens usually on bumps or when I change gears(?) but it skips sometimes just driving along a flat smooth road. I pulled the whole thing out last night and made sure there were no loose wires. Its not a huge problem and it usually only skips maybe once or twice per song (at its worst). And it isn't the CD's because if I rewind a bit it won't skip in the same place.

I have a feeling it might be something to do with heat because it definitely gets worse the longer I've been driving. But the other thing is that it seems to happen sometimes when I change gears, any idea why that would be?

Its a pretty vague problem but if anyone has any ideas I appreciate it.
