Loc: Aliso Viejo, Ca,
I just got hold of a Cobra C75 WXST-FR CB. I want to mount the remote under the drivers seat. I also have a FRS moble radio from Radio Shack that I want to add a 12V outlet for, also under the seat. Now I'm new at adding electrical stuff.....
Where is a good place to tap into to get power where I want it? I was thinking about running rom the battery through the firewall, but from what I've read on the board, I not easy to do. I'm still trying to deside on the antenna and the routing for all the cables. I have read alot on this subject however.
It's for a 2001 XE if that makes a differance.
Thanks for the help
Jim

hey guys on the cobra 75 does it have an outlet for attaching external speakers. Not speakers to listen to the radio through but speakers to speak out through like the cops. If not is there another comparable small radio that can do this.

didn't have any extra wire at the time.

don't really feel like going through the firewall needlessly. there are plenty of places to gain power in the driver compartment.
