I know I saw a thread somewhere a while ago, someone made a mod so you can plug one directly into the lighter for power. ( I think it was A motorola model ). Or since the Nic Battery version already has the plug in, anyone know of a lighter adapter that would do the job. Rather use the battery when walking and biking, but charging while driving.

As for an adapter, Radio Shack should be able to hook you up. They have multi-volt and multi-plug models that will fit most anything.

Yep..those were the pics.. and it was for the battery configuration. I just have to figure out what rating I have to get for the cig. plug. I think I have a plug from something else that would fit the female socket on the FRS, but kinda scared to plug it in to the power.

That DC plug is a good idea. I will have to try that. It will be hard to drill a hole and mount that in there on a brand new MOTO250.
