I was looking at a Napdeck mobile mp3 player, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this? After all is done, it looks like the unit would cost about $750 or so after the system and Head unit. I have about 1500 mp3's on my computer, but I don't know if I shouldn't just save about 300 or more bucks and just get a cd player that is mp3 compatible. Any thoughts on this?

Napdeck MP3/hard drive for mobile audio.

I'm building a smaill pc. You can get a barebones systems for $200 at Frys. All you need is cpu, memory, and a hard drive. I have an 80gig, it will hold mp3's, movies and games. I also have a 5" LCD screen. Super-Nerd to the rescue !!!

I'm going a little more expensive route, but I've got over 300 cd's and am always expanding. I'm getting the Kenwood KDC-X959 mp3 receiver to play the Kenwood Keg. That thing holds 10 gigs of music. Retail is $750 for the Keg, though I won't be paying anywhere near that amount.

why not just get the creative nomad III? i got my 20 gigger for 307 shipped, the 40 gigger is out now for 470. or the archos multimedia player, 20 gigs for about 370 (also has a screen to watch movies).

i have my nomad mounted on the center console and have a line in to my jvc head unit. it has the benefit of being mobile (it's a little smaller than a discman). you can also upgrade the drive so when 60 giggers become cheaper, i'll swap it out.
