So I got some information about rims that fit the new X's from Guys up here in Quebec...they actully do fit for shure and here are some pics and the the info if your interested...

but they are just plaing black steelies...but cheaper than stock xterra steelies..

Here is the info on them and where to buy them
Brand: Fumagalli
Distributor: Macpek 1-418-659-1144 (located in Quebec)
Dimensions: 16 x 7J
Bolt pattern: 6 x 4.5
Backspacing: 5.5 in
Model/part number: x41665

DO NOT order part #X41661
This is the part # most shop have listed for the new gen X, but it's only 6.5in wide and do not clear the brake calipers, you need a 7in wide rim.

Pics...........

Definitely not my cup of tea... BUT hey we have limited options right now so any help will do. Maybe the company that makes these makes some other ones that will fit also.

They're black steelies...not alloy wheels, and, look like spare tire rims to me.

Of course, if they are for a set of play tires, who cares what they look like?

sorry to sound like a prick, but i think the stock base model rims look better than that. Hell, powdercoat the stockers if you want black, at least you know they fit. [LOL]

I know some of you might not like those rims, but I figure any type of infrmation we get for the new X's is worthwhile in posting...I have put a call into the company and waiting to hear back to see if they have any other rims with the same specs..I will keep you guys posted.

The stock steelies are 230 bucks per wheel last quote I got from Nissan locally. They are also Fumagalli's. I just bought a used stock set from a guy for 214 dollars for 4 stock wheels with shipping(good deal). I will powder coat these black. now have 2 sets of wheels. One for street and one for play as TJ said who cares what they look like. The reason I wanted steelies is they could be welded in the field if absolutely necessary.

$230 a wheel?

[Spit]

I paid $200 for 4 used OEM alloy rims, in perfect conditoin, with caps and nuts......and have since seen the same type go for $100-200 for 4 rims, not for one at $230...of course, that's [Freak] at the stealership.

I guess Nissan mark ups on wheels are a bit ridicoulous.....
I was told they were only $90 each, but I will double check.

Just ordered these today 16x8s @ 160/ each. http://www.pacerwheels.com/shared_modules/wheelDataBook.php?myVen=204&mySty=044&linkBig=y

Not a good photo, but saw a brochure with them on a Rubicon...really industrial and not just wagon spokes or holes....also think those holes might drain well....
At Discount tire we found about 6 styles available, but it took research and phone calls to wholesalers.

No, chrome or brushed I believe. I am going brushed. I dont like blacked out rims, although I know they are popular....

I am not sure where, or from whom this information is coming from.

I just spoke with someone at Macpek today and was told that the part #X41661 is no longer available.

I was also told that Model/part number: x41665 is the wheel listed for the new gen Xterra.

It is NOT a 7 inch rim, but rather a 6.5 inch rim.

Factory tire sizes will not work with this rim. 7-9 " is recommended.

The fellow I talked to said there have been no issues regarding caliper clearence.

They are available from Canadian Tire in Canada.

Function over form..
I'm all for it.

While they're maybe not up to the standards of the XOC flame jockeys, I'd mount a set of those without reservation - especially if I where going to wheel with them. While the alloys are nice, I swap mine out for the steel rims before I hit the trail because I'd rather get through the run than care about what my truck looks like.

Besides, it's going to be dirty when it's done.
