I have been working from time to time on the Blue X to kind of make it a mirror image of my Yellow X. Here's where I am so far:

Please post a picture of the 2 sitting side by side.
I would love to have been a fly on the wall the first time you drove the blue one into the dealer.

Two things:
- I live in Schenectady, we have to meet up some time at an NEXterra or UNYX event.
- What paint do you use for painting the headlight surrounds? Mine are a little worn and I'm thinking about slapping a coat of something cool looking on them. How do you prep them for paint? Cleaning? Sanding? Etc?

At some point when playing around on wunderground.com I learned that Schenectady has the zip code 12345. That's

I used color/clear coat to paint the light covers, but for the plastic grill, I just used semi-flat black rattle cans. To prep, clean with acetone (carefully) lightly sand, I used a fine 3M pad, clean again with acetone and spray. That's how I did the blue grill on the Yellow X and it has held up great for three years.

He paints stuff as a hobby...if you leave things laying about, he paints them. One advantage, when he knocks parts of the truck off on rocks, etc...and I find a piece of a tow hook, etc...laying on the trail...I instantly know its Daggers. As for the color scheme... When doing his BL in my driveway, my wife looks out the window, and says "Why'd that guy fag his truck up like that?"

Great Job!
Maybe you should change your description underneath you username to say Solar Blue and Shock Yellow. yellow submarine or blue devil? haha just wondering, what intake do you have in the blue one? it seems like an open air intake like the nismo and not closed. Will the snorkel still be as effective? oh and does the TJM come with the component that kind of transports air from the front to the rear behind the fender?

oh and does the TJM come with the component that kind of transports air from the front to the rear behind the fender?[/b]I don't have the snokel on the blue X hooked up to the intake yet. I'm thinking of building an enclosure around the Stillen intake so I don't have to go out and by another Volant, but in the end, that may not be much cheaper. The TJM is a two-piece snorkel and the secondary tube runs inside the fender to the intake,
