This is nothing compared to what I have seen but we will move on. My Xterra was in my garage and my home did pretty well considering. My wife's Honda on the other hand has 3600$ in damage.

Is that air pressure damage that broke the glass ? I don't see any impact to the sheet meteal anywhere.

To tell you the truth I am not sure. I was in a trailer park helping with the cleanup and I saw that wrecker with the Xterra on the back. I didn't see the driver or the owner anywhere. I had my camera with me to document everything and took a quick pic. I can email some more pics to anyone if they are interested, it truly is unbelievable!

I was in Homestead to patrol for "assholes" aka looters, and I was amazed at what mother nature could do.

Ian I would think it may have been a "pressure thing". If the windows were up that certainly could have shattered the windows, then again it could have been "assholes".

When I was in the Army and BIG explosians were expected we kept our windows cracked, possibly the same theory.

Floridians thank people like you!!! There is plenty of looting going on every night here right now! I just heard that the looters are going up the canals with boats and loading up since the entrance to most neighborhoods are blocked off unless you have proof of residence!!!
We also have had a curfew from 9pm to 6am since the storm.
