Man, you had me worried there for a minute! I thought you were going to say you went to a tree lot to get a tree...LOL!

I've done three tree runs in the hills with my X, but probably won't get a tree this year. Sure beats paying $75+ for an old dry one at the tree lot though!

The first one looks like the Paris Hilton video. Dark and you only see about half of it. Nice tree though. laugh

LOL! I'm not above a nice parking lot picture.

It wasn't bad at all--$8 for the permit from the Forest Service plus gas money to the hills. Of course the trees are so abundant here, you can pick them up for under $20 anywhere in town. That's not as much fun though smile

LOL. Good point. I just wish I would have thought before I chuckled at your reponse. It would have saved an explanation. [Uh Oh !]

It ended up being 14'. We had to cut 2' off just so my GF and I could get it onto the roof. Still, it made for some interesting stares. smile

Good eye! I've only been here 5 months now. I grew up in Spokane and still visit there once or twice a year.

I'll be honest with ya...I had to look up Republic. I'd never heard of it. Though as I've aged, I've discovered quite a few places in the PNW that I'd like to explore. Someday... smile

"Where do you think you're going to put a tree that big Griswold?"

"Bend over and I'll show you!!"

"You have a lot of nerve talking to me like that Griswold!!"

"I wasn't talking to you..." (As he looks at Julia-Louis Dreyfus)
