Wish I had gotten there earlier to take more images,
a lot of really great rigs there belonging to the AZXC guys and gals.
Also Project X was there.

If any of the other images I took came out well I will definately post them.

There seemed to be enough talking without my own chatter in there.
Was good to meet everyone there and see all the rigs. Gives me a better idea where I want to go with mine. Its actually my wife's xterra, soon I hope to get my 55 willys wagon out on the trails. Its all just a matter of money and time. Mostly money.

Did they bring the "Tank Maneuver" Video from Moab???

I will have to see if I can get that from them.

Hey fangers, I will be running a 74 cj in about 6 months. Good to have another 2 solid axle vehicle on the trail.

My Aunt Barb and her husband just finished this project-

194-something Willys. Everything is back to original specifications (but they had seat belts installed so the grandkids can ride in it.)

Tim (T-Ray) had a cherry mid 50's Willys Wagon also IIRC. I (sadly) just parted with my bitchin' '66 IH Scout 800.. Old Iron Rules.

I would love to trade the wagon for a smaller willy's model. The X already fills the same roll as the wagon. Would be nice to have a smaller more agile brute to kick around in.

Other images that came out ok for rushed low light shots.

lol
Not sure where we are going with the "paint job" thing, but I think he is talking about the awful swoopy paint job on the exterior.
I dont really care for it myself, I think it detracts from the already perfect lines that xterra's come with.
Nice paint job just not my kind of look.
I dont care for the wheels either. I like basic utilitarian wheels you dont have to worry about messing up or getting stolen.

Yeah, but they display the truck at SEMA, so you gotta think blingy.

The Atlas is a nice touch, though.

I digress back to the willys subject, I would love to have this rig instead of my wagon.

This is about the only rig I would trade my X in for in a New York Minute and never look back.

Great memories building that thing. Helped me pay for college though. Taught me a lot about trucks and 4-wheeling.

Too bad the LED rock lights aren't in that pic.. Wally's built himself a real nice Gen2, it's ok to show it off laugh He usually pulls that kind of stuff at the mall, so his behavior at the meeting is happily accepted.
