Welp...it's my first post. Just picked up the X this weekend (2000 Solar Yellow, 4X4 SE) and am absolutely LOVING it. It just feels so right My friends really like it too--I know that a lot of them love the yellow. Anyway, I finally got the chance to wash it yesterday and figured I'd better share some photos here if I'm gonna truely be a member. So here goes nothing...

Yeah...I'm pretty anal about takin care of cars. Naturally, I have to drop friends off at the front door during lunch time unless they want to hike in from the deserted parking spots out in the middle of no-where.

I just got my rubber Xterra floor mats today and slipped them in. I need to wax it here soon...the yellow is really striking (when clean, of course). Thanks for the comments

Miles: I've got just over 50k right now. Low miles...very clean (one or two magnifying-glass-small chips) and that's how it's gonna stay My dad said I shoulda taken the picture off the drive-way :p

So curious if its gonna stay clean and in pristine condition why in the hell did you buy a 4x4.

A 4X4 is necessary because I live on top of a mountain where it snows big time--we just had 2-3 feet of snow a couple weeks ago and while an AWD car woulda been a nice alternative, they just don't have the ground clearence...besides...the X is just one cool machine

Yes Indeed...Now go put some nice All-Terrain Tires on it and go have fun...having experienced the honor of owning both a 2WD X (traded-in), and my current 4x4 X...I used to keep my 2WD X clean and shiney, and with my current X, it's wierd, I have this "4x4 mentality" and it's rarely clean...but I do my best to wash it down whenever it really needs it...Have Fun...

That's an '04. It's the model sold in Krackestan. It's a turbo-diesel with over 200 ft# of tq. The one in the picture obviously has an aftermarket lift..I'm not big on the blue monochromatic job, too each his own though :rolleyes:
