that is a good looking truck. Where do you run it? It is against the law to run in the dunes down here...the ecology is to fragile, kill the ecology and our dunes blow away. Just wondering

Bet in Oregon you have to have a pretty thick wetsuit. Great looking peak splitting both ways, nobody out...drool,drool.

Your dunes don't seem to have vegetation growing on them, that was what I was concerned about. OUrs does, and as a result we can't drive on them.

Sand does get under the bra, and everywhere else, but I'd rather use my truck the way I want than worry too much about the paint, besides, I got a good auto body man that helps sponsor me.

The bumper was made by my fab guy, Taylor Fabrication in Medford, OR. I beleive the original design was for BroncoII's, but he modified it to fit my X. This is actually the 2nd one he made for it.

I dune in OR, mostly in the North Bend area, but ocassionaly in Florence and Sand Lake. Also attend the Sand Flea Rally in Tillamook, OR in 2001.

I'll try to get some more pics up soon, although the inside isn't anything special, I guess I can take some pics. We should have some good video footage after Dune Fest which is the first week of August. My web page designer is supposed to come take "professional" video and have our web site up and running by the time GOX starts.

Thanks for all the cool coments. Even though my X is a bit different, I love it, use it, and wouldn't trade it for anything else.

My local dealer is one of my sponsors and said they would port and polish the head and install a hi performance cam, not sure if thats what I want to do though. Would only cost me $50 Labor and $150 for the cam, seems like a good deal to me.

That definitely begs the question: why have the bra at all?

I have a bra for mine that is sitting in the garage. For my old job I drove 60 miles a day, highway, and I was getting the paint chipped off of the hood right over the grill and around the headlights. Now that I only live 5 miles from work and no highway driving, i don't use it. So maybe he is protecting his paint from rock chips.

I was actually the first person in my area to own an X. Shortly after alot of peolpe started buying them. The bra was an inexpensive way to set mine apart from the rest. Now mine stands out, but left the bra on partly cause of the faded paint, and cause I kinda like it on.

So, now maybe we can get over the bra thing, you think???

Hey AWWear, PNWX was down at Sand Lake earlier this year. Too bad you didn't come join us we would have loved to check out that truck. Maybe sometime in the future ..

I browsed the PNWX site a little last night Superjens, I am new to using a computer, got a friend helping me out a bunch.

This is a picture of a Xterra shirt I had printed, was wondering what people think of it. I sold 50 of them to my local dealer already, and the dealer plans to get some Xterra shirts made for them to give away also. I am an embroiderer and silkscreener by trade.

I am curious on your bumper. What tubing was used? I like parts of the design and am just interested in the tubing size. I miss Oregon, but do plan on spending some time on the Coast this fall (Depot Bay end of Oct.). Might just have to take the X out on the sand.

As far the Bra if you have guy that will to the painting, black out the front to look like it has a bra but you won't have to deal with the sand. You are going to need to paint it eventually, why not sooner than later?

I was thinking that if I was with another person from Oregon, that they would no be so local, but if they messed with Gerry, than they don't care who you are. You need to take that thing to San Diego! Lots of sand just across the boarder and east county. Almost everyone has a sand rig, sand rail etc etc. You'd love it.
