I went camping with some friends this last Friday night. We were driving around and I found a moderately sized mud puddle, drove through it, got the X a little dirty, found a campsite, set up camp and eventually went to sleep. We were camping right next to the lake. Well the next day I was walking around trying to find some firewood and there was a little channel I guess you could call it of water that came in from the lake, it was only a few feet wide and didn't look very deep at all. On the other side of it was that same mud puddle from the night before. After we had finished and packed up I decided to go across that and to the puddle again before departing for home. Here is the outcome of my decision.
After about 20-25 minutes of a Tacoma truck pulling and tugging, friends standing on the back to give weight, she finally came out. She had bottomed out on some rocks when ever I went over the edge that I didn't think was that deep. We ended up having roughly 10 people show up to help(none of which did we know). Shows how great of a group off roaders are. The damage afterwards: Bent underneath the step rail, nothing major
