It looks more at home on the second picture than on the first one... what about some chrome on the roofrack? on the bush guard? Anything to match with the wheels...

What were you doing driving with those rims into a construction zone? Did you have permission to be there or were you trespassing? If you had permission, I'll bet the workers really gave you looks - with those rims.

Also, if you are into that "look" (refering to the rims and Nitto tires) then you should have gotten a 4x2.

edited to add: Nevermind, I see from your profile that is says you are a Caterpillar operator so I guess you were supposed to be there. You actually drive with those rims/tires into construction sites???

If you were going to do that, you should have gotten a 2WD. The people snatching them up and then not using them suck.

Just out of curiousity, when somebody does something like this do you replace the auto-locking hub with a flanged driveshaft like current Pathys or what? i.e. how do you retain the 4WD?

how come it's ok to put dubs on a ram, Yukon,Cherokee,X5,MDX,4runner,Pathfinder, or Hummer? Once I put them on an X, it's like I burnt a cross or something? can anyone explain this hatred towards me?

Mostly it's because this board has more 4WD owners than 2WD owners. 4WD vehicles in general are designed to be driven off-road, which many members of this board do.

Your's however could not be driven off road without damaging the wheels and tires severely, and suffering the world's harshest ride.

Many of the 4WD owners on this board think it is sacrilege to take a 4WD Xterra and make it into a street only vehicle.

Different strokes for different folks. It atleast looks half decent unlike some of the other street X's out there.

Dubs do really well on Indy and Formula 1 cars.

It's not offroad vehicle anymore (look at that crappy wheels). If you drive on-road only why you need the bull bar and extra lights?

He lives where it snows. The 4wd might come in handy sometimes regardless of what kind of wheels it has. Is it that hard to figure out? It's a brush guard not a bull bar. It has no purpose offroad either.

Escalades and other bling bling SUVs are all wheel or 4WD and you don't see people freaking out when they are sporting the big chrome wheels do you ?

Let's try to keep things in perspective.

If you are going to put on big wheels you might as well go all the way and lower it a little to fill in that gap in the fender wells. You can de-arch your rear leaf pack and crank the torsion bars down in the front and you can get about an inch drop.

Umm thats not a bull bar. Thats a brush guard. Big Difference!
