Finally got them finished and on today. Only thing left to do is find a way to paint the centercaps so that they at least somewhat match.
It all started with this photoshop picture I had my friend do. Then Walmart screwed up all my wheels while I was getting my Revos mounted. So I decided to buy another set of OR wheels and have them sandblasted and powdercoated charcoal gray to match the molding. It took me FOREVER to find a color that matched and was metallic, and I am now very happy with the choice. I had the stock tires put on these wheels to run in the summer only. The damaged wheels and Revos will go back on for the winter.

I'm not so sure that I like the white letters now. In the photoshop pic I did with blackwalls , I didn't really like it. No big deal. At the rate this thing wears out the outer edges of the tires, I'll have to get the tires flipped so the white letters are facing in in about a year anyway, so I'll get to see how I like that too.

I like the way it looks! I've been thinking if powdercoating my wheels a while back but I wasn't really sure after I saw someone do it on here, however yours look pretty damn good.

I'd also leave out the center caps as well, I like it better without them anyways.

Who did the powdercoat for you?

I am thinking about doing that to my new wheels, they are gloss black with machined silver lip.

I would like to get the gloss black powdercoated, and leave the silver lip...

Its a place in Pioneer, Ohio I've been dealing with for years. They really treat me right. They were doing a set of wheels like you described last time I was there. They had to use some special tape that didn't melt in the oven to tape off the chrome ring, but powdercoat the center section.

about flipping the tires those tires have a somewhere written on them that you should only mount white side out, I don't know if they are directional or not but somewhere I read that.

Wheels were $500 from the junkyard, and that was a deal. Sandblast was $50, which was also a deal. Powdercoat was $80, which was a really good deal, since he had to do them twice (one color coat, one clearcoat), and the special order powder was $80. For anybody else, this little adventure would probably cost close to $1000.
