This is my brand new baby, and I had to christen her on day one! I know someone will rag on me for the step rails still being on but I like em!

Ha! my wife is 5'2" so with my lift, if I took the step rails off she couldn't get in!

You might wanna keep an eye on the brush guard...alot of people have been having problems with the paint getting rubbed away near the light assembly and also on the plastic bumper...(do a search on the picture section and you'll see what I mean)
Another thing to be wary of...those things sometimes tend to do more damage to your truck in a collision, than if you just had the plastic bumper, because of the way they wrap around the entire front. As long as you don't drive like a maniac or hit a tree offroadin' you should be good to go....

Your X looks great, man...leave on the step rails....they look good on the X (unless your'e going to take your X off-roading on rock trails)...it's your X...do what you want to do!!!
P.S. - SUPER BLACK KICKS-ASS

since your xterra is 4x4, you will offroad right? removing the side steps would be a good idea, and as an extra incentive most sliders come painted black, if oyu like the all black look.
