I thought NY Madman and MBFlyerfan would enjoy this:
THE WELFARE POEM (God bless the U.S.A.)
I come for visit, get treated regal, So I stay. Who care I illegal?
I cross border, poor and broke, Take bus, see employment folk.
Nice man treat me good in there, Say I need to see welfare.
Welfare say, "You come no more, We send cash right to your door."
Welfare checks, they make you wealthy. Medicaid it keep you healthy!
By and by, I got plenty money, Thanks to you, American dummy.
Write to friends in motherland, Tell them come as fast as you can.
They come in rags and Chebby trucks, I buy big house with welfare bucks.
They come here, we live together, More welfare checks, it gets better!
Fourteen families they moving in, But neighbor's patience wearing thin.
Finally, white guy moves away, Now I buy his house, and then I say,
"Find more aliens for house to rent." And in the yard I put a tent.
Send for family (they just trash), But they, too, draw the welfare cash!
Everything is mucho good, And soon we own the neighborhood.
We have hobby--it's called breeding, Welfare pay for baby feeding.
Kids need dentist? Wife need pills? We get free! We got no bills!
American crazy! He pay all year, To keep welfare running here.
We think America darn good place! Too darn good for the white man race.
If they no like us, they can go, Got lots of room in Mexico
I Love America!

Can you please write a welfare poem for Canada...we have our deadbeats, too! Come to think of it, so does "wealthy" western countries such as Germany, Sweden, the UK, etc...

It's also sad because it's so true.
I do believe you are coming around Guido..... You know what? I think you would be surprised at how much I do agree with you. Most of the time the way you present your views rubs me the wrong way.

I used to work in a (gasp!) grocery store in a very wealthy neighborhood and it was unbelievable how many people came in that were on government programs. If they can afford to live where apartment rent is $1,000/month for a 1 bedroom and own nice cars you would think they could buy their own groceries?

You're right...B.C. is welfare heaven - they tan in the summer, and ski in the winter! I can't really describe the extent of the damage I'd like to cause these people! Yeah...I had to get rid of the SC - I'll be getting an SE non-SC when I find one at the dealer auction I like. It should save me about 20%, as I'll be paying the same as the dealers. I've been busy, but check out the booty thread! edited for spelling
