I've been spending some time on the Automotive Customizers website lately ( www.4x4parts.com ) and their new post indicators seem to work off of the username/login rather than off cookies (I don't know much about the details of website function - so it is an assumption... point is that it appears that here, the info is stored on MY computer - where there, it is stored on THEIR server)...

...the nice part about this is that when I log on from a different computer (work/home), the indicators are accurate on that board - but not on this one.

This might be difficult/impossible/undesirable to implement here - but it's kind of a nice feature.

Some day the board will upgrade to vBulletin, but since it works without crashing right now, it will stay this way for some time.
