Friday night at Fox and the Hound, we discussed going to Barnwell sometime in October, but didn't come to any conclusions about a date. I just thought I'd help get the ball rolling. Any weekend is allright with me, just lmk. What dates are good for the rest?

i'll be up on sunday 10/12 for the cowboys game. 11th would be ok for me. if not, i have plenty of sick time (i work sats). wife no understand whole off road thing, so i may try and bring/convert her. and if she gets lost...and i can't find her.... hmmmm..........

Where is Barnwell located? I looked it up on mapquest but only got CA, SC, and AL.

Barnwell is located in Gilmer, TX... Here is a little info: BARNWELL ... It should probably be about a 6 hour drive for you... which is no excuse not to show, as I've got to drive atleast 5...

Where is Mod day going to be held?

That is why I am wanting it to be on the second weekend (trip to barnwell).

change in plans.. I can not make the second weekend in Oct..

However the first weekend is good for me. This will also be the last time in a while my truck will be in Dallas. We are moving to MN.

So.. I don't know if it is possible to change the mod day with Barnwell but if it is possible that would be great..

Not to be rude, but ModDay needs to stay on the weekend of the 4th. Some people attending ModDay are not available on the 12th.

Hey Carlton... why the hell are you moving to MN? And especially just when the weather is getting nice down here and shitty up there?

I would rather ride than mod Barnwell on the 4th would work for me. Carlton let me know and be sure to bring your truck not Liz's

PM me your plans on your move if you don't want to post. I'd like to get together with both of you before moving... maybe a road trip central for both of us. I am sure others would go too. Bossier City comes to mind for a weekend

I plan on leaving Dallas on Saturday around 8 am on Oct 4th to head to Barnwell..

Whoever wants to go is welcome. The more the merrier. I am just bummed that I am going to miss the meeting. Oh well..

I *think* the only ones currently going to Barnwell on the 4th are Roger and Carlton. At least they are the only ones who said they are going on the 4th.

We might just run the gammut and add Barnwell to our weekend plans. Are ya'll planning to camp Saturday night? If so, we might get out there late (probably around 10 or so) after our party in Dallas. Let me know.

Jason and others... Barnwell on the 4th and yes staying the night. Depending on weather may bring trailer... I can't ride the 11th as it's Susan's Bday the 12th.

i'm pretty sure i am in for both weekends. question is, is anybody going up on friday night? have about a 6 hour drive and would rather drive friday after work. with my position, i should be able to cut out between 2-5pm (also depends on wife's job (for the 4th)). still a rookie with offroad, but give me a goat and i'll hang with the best.....
