On Route Sixty-Six!

Somehow the thought passed our mind to drive old 66 back from AZ to TX. To make a long story short, we did. Went through Flagstaff, Winslow (where the old 'Standing' statue has been replaced by a guy leaning on a pole), Gallup, Santa Rosa, Tecumcari and San Jon. Funny thing... Every restaurant we stopped at was an old 50s style drive up diner, and yes, we hit Sonic too. Next time Roger, next time...

Yeah, travelled a short second of 66 a couple of years ago. Just the part west of Albequerque to somewhere south of there. Desolate!
