Last Saturday of the month is coming up fast, and I've got a trailer load of junk to dump at the collin county free dumpsite...

Just one hitch, er, that's a pun smile cause I don't have one for my X yet.

Joe's wants $180 for a hitch, Nissan $250 or so... where did everyone get theirs? Especially the SC model, cause I've got the 17" tires still.

Didn't see anything in our area for posts on this.. and the ebay stuff all looks like it's not built for the larger spare. Anyone got part numbers or reccommendations?

Thanks a bunch!

Have you tried U-Haul? I know they sell hitches and do installations.
They even offer a lifetime warranty if you leave their U-Haul sticker on
the hitch. cool

I got mine in Lewisville for like 130 and I put it on my self. It even came with frame stiffeners. If your interisted, I'll get the name of the place if you want to call them.

I had written off Uhaul because their website couldn't come up with a hitch for the SC xterra...

However, after calling the one down the street, I found they had one that fits the 17" rims nicely for $120. I haven't seen the frame stiffeners so I'm not sure what they look like, but this hitch did use all 3 holes from the factory (per side)...

Since I had the X up on the ramp to verify it would fit I just had them do the whole thing for $20... I could have done it myself of course, but it was cheap and took 5 minutes for them to complete it... only a minute or so longer than it took to pay for it. smile

Too bad I couldn't reuse the hardware from the camaro for the hitch... oh well. Anyone need a hitch for a 95 camaro? smile

Thanks,
