Well hopefully not to much longer and all the snow will be gone.
I have to say I hate to see it go. At least Whistler/Blackcomb has the glacier for late spring skiing/boarding. Will have to find a new job too. frown
However, it sure will be nice to hit the trails again! Especially in my X for the first time! laugh

Mt Hood Still has 192 inch base thats not bad for feb. but it will probably be gone pretty soon. it is very sad seeing as i only got to go once because of stupid work.

I hit some logging roads late last night but it was my first time off-road in my X.

I know how you feel about not being able to hit the slopes... This may sound funny, but I work at a ski resort (Summit at Snoqualmie) and I have barely been able to hit the slopes this year! frown
The reason is I have classes (Central Washington University) Mon-Thur, then I work Fri-Sun. Kind of puts a damper on the snowboarding.

I was able to take my X out last week, couldn't get very far back into the canyon I like to 4x4 in, but was still fun. I will be happy when all the snow is gone so I can 4x4 down the canyon to my fishing hole laugh

I've lived up here 2 1/2 years and haven't skied once yet. Same thing, I went back to school and work full time. Plus my wife doesn't ski and it's not as fun going alone. We're supposed to move back to Washington next year, I've got to at least ski one time in Alaska.

Hey brain903,
I was born and raised up there in Anchorage. Moved down to WA in 1995. The whole time I lived up there I snowboarded once. Although I was an avid cross country skier. What part of Washington are you looking at moving to?

That's funny, I lived in Washington, from the time I was 2 until we moved up here. I'm from Vancouver, WA and my wife's from Portland, so we'll move back down in that area since that's where all our family is. She doesn't like being away from everyone, especially once we have kids.

I have lived in Vancouver for going on 6 years, I've been to Whistler once, and that was in the summer.

Now diving on the other hand.. I think I've spent more time under water than on the dry land smile
