coming from seattle. im looking for some strictly beginner trails because im trying to get my friend into offroading and he has an absolutely stock 02 X. any suggesttions? dont mind driving a while but not eastern washington. help me out here

Well forest service roads are a good place to start. Also narrowing down your area too. Basicly find a fs road, head down it and look for spurs off it. But come prepared cause if you get stuck the people with you are the only ones that can help. Cell service is usually non existent and tows can get expensive. Also bring some shears if you value your paint job. Most of the good ones i've found required some touch up to not give you bare metal racing stripes.
