HS 25: Hite Cove Road (Camping Trip) via HS 24 Ferguson Ridge Trail from Backcountry Adventure: Northern California
DR: 6 (Stock Xterra can handle it wink )
Elevation: 1,600 - 3,900 ft.
3 hr. 20 min. from South Bay to Midpines
3 hr. 2 min. from South Bay to Darrah
1. Campgrounds at the North end of the trail.
2. start the trail from HS 24: Ferguson Ridge Trail
Indian Flat Campground @ the end of Hite Cove Rd & a few more before the end.

4/2/2005 (Sat)
Route:
Livermore I580 I205 -> Tracy -> Hwy120 Manteca -> Hwy99 Modesto -> Merced -> Mariposa

08:30 Meet at Safeway on Mission Blvd between I880 and I680 in Fremont
08:45 - 09:00 Meet at McD off of Santa Rita Exit on I580 in Pleasanton
09:30 – 09:45 Arrive at Safeway in Tracy if any shopping needed
10:00 – 10:15 Depart for Darrah (120 miles / 2 hr. 40 min.)
12:40 – 13:00 Arrive at the trailhead for HS 24: Ferguson Ridge Trail

Because of the trail condition from recent rain/snow, this camping trip might not take place at Hite Cove Rd, and I'm still not 100% sure where we'll end up.

If you're just planning to pop up in the morning w/o signing up in this thread, you might find yourself waiting for me and/or others who will not be there to meet.
