If you are interested in a trail run for Oct. please take this poll. Also post comments/ideas below. Akio is planning a trip and would like to hear your input. One more thing...please post dates you would like to go.

I'm just trying to go for at least one more trail run before the snow starts to cover everything. Anyway, let me hear your voices.

I'm in for just about anything. When and if I ever get my X back from the shop. ![[Uh Oh !]](graemlins/uhoh.gif) I would not mind doing Sqaw Ridge Road(aka Pardeo) as an over nighter. BRT is beutifull this time of year, or????. Just let me know. Casper

For some reason, I get this message:
"Sorry, you do not have permission to vote in this poll."
I don't know what the questions are, but my participation depends on whether I feel like my house-related projects have reached an acceptable state of completion and whether camping is involved. I'll probably pass on anything that's a day run.

BRT would be my vote...the fall colors will be extreme and the water will be cooler (fishing will be good) what does everyone think?

For what its worth, our local group will be heading to the Mojave area for the weekend of the 23-24. Mostly stock friendly, step rails removed, with other stuff availible. We'll likely camp at the state park campground, which is actually quite scenic in it's own right. For more info, look Here and /or Here . I have heard rumor the SCCX will be in the area that same weekend, but so far that is uncomfirmed... MV

Those who voted for "4wd modified." How difficult would you like it to be?

Or, if anyone else is into fishing, I have a 'secret' access to the East Carson river about three miles upstream from BRT end that has two little extreme sections. It is a very short little trail however. Once there, you usually don't see anyone else.

By the way, I set up Hell Hole camping run in Oct. before a 4wd stock friendly camping run becuase of the elevation. You know...the higher it is, the more likely the ground condition goes bad early in the season. Hell Hole is about at 5,000 ft, and I didn't want to set it up later, so that the weather could ruin the run. I have another trail picked for early Nov. camping run, which is 4wd stock friendly. And, it's at lower elevation. Right now, I'm thinking for Nov. 6&7 or 13&14.
