So the idea is to hit the trail no latter then 1030. The trail is located on highway 80 just before cisco grove exit. Stockers minus step rails and mudflaps should be fine. Im not quite sure how far we can go in as to they were logging last time we went in and then the big storms hit. Meet times will be determined as we closer and the amount of people we have. You must have good tires and a working spare .
gonna have to check the pocketbook ( and with the .mrs 'cause if i go without here again i'll be in trouble  ) so count me in for now. if i can't make it, i'll remove my name from the list.

Don't let them do that to you Robert! Tires with tread are over rated!!! I mean really if say someone could run a trail that was maybe a bit tough...say the Rubicon maybe...and do it on slighlty worn tires. Well you get the point.
jeez, forgot to pick up my flame suit from the dry cleaners yesterday j/k i'm going to get some tires today ( thanks for the help akio). so that means i'll be planning a trip to georges house in the next few days! (george p.m. me or e mail me when you have some free time)

Dave, in the snow Eagle Lakes is quite easy, but you will flex out your truck. I would do as much bending /trimming as possible or mount your smaller tires if you have them. You might end up tearing up your 35s if you run them without clearing space for them to stuff.

That sounds like a good time to meet. I may just meet you guys at the trailhead also since I'm out where Mick used to live. Hwy 20 might be shorter for me.

So lets say meet at trail head at 10:00. Best Buy fairfield at 715 leave no latter then 730. And may be a quick stop somewhere else for sac people. Please shop ahead time for food as this is a day trip. We will gas up real quick in cicsco grove.
Is it possible to turn around on the trail. incase I can't make it. I really want to go, so I cut more plastic and bent some medal. U-TURNS are a go finally.
Shouldnt be a problem both trails are not that long. May be one or two places you might flex a bit but you shouldnt have a problem. I always carry a small sledge hammer . We can get you through no problem.
