Kevin- Are you referring to Saturday, August 5? Hopefully that motor mount won't take you 5 weeks to install!

I contacted the coordinator today to find out how well-covered their needs are for August 5. It turns out that, including our group, there will be over 20 vehicles helping out! Boy, that little parking lot is going to be CROWDED!

Hi Guys,
We've just returned from a week of Backpacking in Arizona so we're going to pass on this year's trip.
... smile don't forget you need to have room for bags, wheelchairs and camping supplies for the campers.
have a great time!

Hey Guys, I have a question. Tomorrow I will be going to adopt a new dog (if it all works out right). I will be back in time for the trip, however I will now have a riding partner. I know he is trained, however he will be new to me, and is still young. I am wondering if I should bring him with me? If you think not, than I will have to pass on this trip as I won't leave him home alone on his first nights with me. What do you think? I am leaning toward passing this trip since he is new, and I will not have had any training with him.

I could also go and only carry camping gear. Between my X and the trailer I can take quite a bit.

I welcome everyones opinion. Hope to see you all soon.

Casper, I say bring the dog and see what happens. Put it on a leash. Plus I want to see you trailer in action.

See you all Saturday at the bus parking lot.

Casper, bring the dog. put a harness on the dog and attach the dog to a seatbelt. (which is what we will be doing!)

hope to see you on Saturday!

Well, I guess it was meant that we were not able to make this weekend’s trip.

Last Tuesday evening, Catherine was playing softball. She was running to catch a ball, but her foot got caught by some bold spots on the grass, I think (I was on the bench watching her team playing). She rolled on the ground. When she stopped rolling, she realized that she had massive pain in her right knee (her left knee is the bad knee with a surgery from the past), and some (very little) blood on her pants near the knee. Well, somehow her knee exploded eek (sort of…since her knee didn’t hit anything). She ended up with a huge cut…about 5” long and 1.5” deep [Uh Oh !] , and was taken from the softball field to a nearby hospital in an ambulance. About 2 hours later, an emergency doctor finally stitched her up…about 5 stitches under the skin to keep the cut closed (inside), and about 25 stitches to keep the skin closed (surface).

Luckily and surprisingly, that was all. [Freak] No damages to muscles and bones. She was released from the emergency room late Tuesday evening…almost midnight or after midnight.

So, hopefully, she’ll recover fast and be able to join the next 3-day holiday weekend in September…

Have fun, guys…and take lots of pictures. [Wave]

Wow, so sorry to hear Akio, please tell Catherine I hope she get's well soon!

Josh, I think the dog will be fine, according to an earlier post from Dean it looks like we have more then enough vehicles to handle all the kids, so if you could transport luggage and equipent that will be helpful. Plus I want to see the new trailer! laugh
